What is Tai Chi?
Tai chi is a form of mind-body exercise that is based on slow, flowing, and choreographed movements. Tai Chi is a form of light-to-moderate intensity activity combining muscle-strengthening, balance, and flexibility training. While originally developed as a form of self-defense, Tai Chi has now changed into a widely practiced exercise for health and well-being.
The benefits of tai chi can help you function better in your everyday life. For example, it can help improve your balance and muscle tone while fostering a calm, focused clarity of thought. It’s often called meditation in motion.
